- these pieces of artwork are giorgio's tribute to his main
influence and muse, jack "the king" kirby.
- each piece is redrawn in pencils, faithfully replicating the
original in its published version (although, at times, the piece might be slightly
"expanded", like thor #160 pg.13 or machine man #1 cover), and then painted with
ecoline, adding shadings and tonal variations which were not possible (or not financially
feasible) back in the days when cheap comics were published on newsprint.
these tributes are *one only*, much like their
original counterparts, meaning that comolo will only do one of each and never replicate
any of them.
size is in inches and artwork is on 2-ply
bristol/hammer board.
although much time and care have been spent to
obtain the most accurate scans, hardware and browsers differences and limitations make it
impossible to guarantee that the colors you see on your screen are exactly the same as the
original artwork.
